Taijiquan

An internal Chinese Martial Art that is characterised by slow and graceful movements.  Taijiquan is a Martial Art that is practiced as a form of self-defence as well as for its mental and physical health benefits.  Taijiquan has been described as “meditation in motion”, helping its practitioners reach higher meditative states and increased longevity.

Wing Chun

Wing Chun, as this Martial Art is popularly known is a traditional Southern Chinese Kung fu style which requires firm stances from which to execute quick and efficient blocks and strikes with the hands and feet.  Wing Chun emphasises speed and quick techniques which are executed in a relaxed manner.

Wrestling

Wrestling is a versatile grappling Martial Art that makes use of a variety of techniques to gain a superior position over an opponent.  This Martial Art is not to be confused with professional wrestling which is famous for its entertainment value rather than true combat characteristics.

Greco-Roman and Free Style Wrestling are combat sport versions that are featured in the Olympic games.
